Foodynamics is recalling specific lots of Raw Dog Barkery, BellePepper Cats, Kanu Pets, and What’s In the Bowl brand freeze dried pet treats because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Raw Bistro Pet Fare is recalling two product sizes of its frozen beef dog food because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Best Buy Bones, Inc. of Mount Morris, Michigan is recalling four lots of Nature’s Own Pet Chews Bully Bites 1 Pound pet treats in 16 oz. bags with a shared expiration date of September 2027 because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This product was sold through retail stores in Wisconsin.

The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) and the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) have issued a recall of Signature Pet Care Songbird Blend Wild Bird Food 7 LB, sold at Albertsons, Safeway and Haggen stores in in WA and OR, and manufactured by Global Harvest Foods. The bird seed contains invasive quarantined wild seeds (Palmer amaranth).

Testing shows a link between the strain of H5N1 virus detected in a cat and in certain lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats, a product the cat consumed before falling ill.

Savage Pet is recalling 66 Large Chicken Boxes 84 oz. and 74 Small Chicken Boxes 21 oz. with the lot code/best by date of 11152026 because it has the potential to contain H5N1, also known as bird flu.

Wild Coast Raw is recalling lots of frozen Boneless Free Range Chicken Formula raw pet food for cats because it has the potential to be contaminated with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1.

Testing conducted by Washington State Department of Agriculture on containers of the raw pet food, manufactured by Wild Coast Raw, found HPAI. If you have food from the affected lots, discontinue feeding it immediately.

Blue Ridge Beef is recalling pet foods due to contamination with Salmonella.

The FDA has determined that manufacturers of cat and dog foods using uncooked or unpasteurized materials derived from poultry or cattle (e.g., uncooked meat, unpasteurized milk or unpasteurized eggs) must reanalyze their food safety plans to include HPAI.

The FDA CVM is alerting veterinarians of a recall for human medical devices associated with burn injuries in children. CVM has received reports of burn injuries in animals associated with veterinary use of these human medical devices.

Oregon Department of Agriculture testing confirmed a house cat in Washington County contracted H5N1 and died after consuming the recalled food. Tests confirmed a genetic match between the virus in the raw frozen pet food and the infected cat.
