Two Lots of Wild Coast Boneless Free Range Chicken Formula Raw Food Test Positive for HPAI
Testing conducted by Washington State Department of Agriculture on containers of the raw pet food, manufactured by Wild Coast Raw, found HPAI. If you have food from the affected lots, discontinue feeding it immediately.
Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI): Two Cats in Multnomah County Became Ill & Were Euthanized After Eating Raw Food Positive for HPAI
To reduce the risk of exposure to HPAI, keep cats away from wild birds, and do not feed pets uncooked or freeze-dried meat-based diets, treats, or animal products, or unpasteurized dairy products.

Cat and Dog Food Manufacturers Required to Consider H5N1 in Food Safety Plans
The FDA has determined that manufacturers of cat and dog foods using uncooked or unpasteurized materials derived from poultry or cattle (e.g., uncooked meat, unpasteurized milk or unpasteurized eggs) must reanalyze their food safety plans to include HPAI.
