About 25% of the veterinary practices in Oregon have enrolled with the OVMA’s workers’ compensation group program with Saif Corp. Member practices that qualify receive an additional discount on their insurance premiums. This is above and beyond the comparatively low premiums veterinary practices already receive, as well as any rebate distributed back to businesses from Saif Corp. The annual discount has ranged between 5% and 17% for the past 10 years.
