Food and Mixed Animal Practices Needed to Benchmark NCVEI Compensation Tools
The NCVEI is preparing to launch benchmarking tools for food and mixed animal practitioners. They needs volunteer who are willing to enter “seed” data in the models. The more people who participate in the process, the more effective the NCVEI models will be in helping practitioners.
To date, they have released similar tools for companion animal and equine veterinarians, and now the program will be expanded. Currently there are 10,000 practices using these free tools in all 50 states. In Oregon, approximately 180 veterinary practices have logged on to check out what NCVEI has to offer.
If you are interested in participating in the seeding process, please contact Cheri Kowal with NCVEI at (847) 925-1230. The office is located in Schaumburg, IL, within the AVMA headquarters. You can also contact the OVMA at (800) 235-3502 to receive some general information about the seeding process for food and mixed animal practitioners.
